Supplying Quality Parts to the railroad Industry for over 20 years

In 2000 The Hill Railroad Car Company was having issues finding parts to repair the railroad cars it was working either the parts had a long lead time or weren’t being produced any longer. So they saw a need to start manufacturing rail car parts for their shop. Thus a fab shop was born and was taxed with fabricating parts for the shop that was now doing general repairs, wreck repairs and program work for six of the seven class one railroads, short lines and all of the major private car owners. In 2015 the fab shop was made a stand-alone division of The Hill Team, Inc. and began operating as REX Fabricating. Which is a veteran owned & family operated by Jim Hill his wife Cindy& his daughter Keri.

REX Fabricating can process steel (from 7Gauge through 6”), stainless steel (from 7 Gauge through 1”) & Aluminum (from 7 Gauge through 1 ¼).
